Fredericksburg (VA) Silhouettes

The first official meeting g of the future Silhouettes of The Fredericksburg Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi, Inc., occurred on Memorial Day Weekend of 2012. We were formed for the purpose of supporting the activities of The Fredericksburg Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. including the 2013 Eastern Province Council.

The Silhouettes Chapter of Fredericksburg, VA was chartered on Saturday, September 22, 2012. Our chartering ceremony took place at Snowden House in Fredericksburg, VA, Silhouettes Shirley. Pinckney presided over the chartering ceremony. The chapter has twenty-two founding members, and as of 2013, our current membership is Twenty-three Silhouettes.

The Silhouettes have provided support to the Fredericksburg Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi, Inc., by hosting the Silhouettes at the Eastern Council Province April 1, 1-14, 2013 at the Dulles Hyatt Hotel in Herndon, Virginia.

In June of 2013, the Silhouettes assisted the fraternity with the Kappa Foundation of Fredericksburg Golf Tournament. This event is one method of raising funds in support of college scholarships for youth in the community.
